Dodo Juice Lime Prime, the product that breaks all the rules?

Dodo Juice - Lime Prime pre-wax cleanser 250ml

Dodo Juice Lime Prime – ” the pre-wax cleanser which breaks all the rules!”.

The pre-wax cleanser that breaks all the rules. With micro-abrasives to remove oxidisation and light swirlmarks, cleaning agents to remove watermarks and ingrained dirt, and lubricating oils for slickness and gloss.

This product already sounds very very interesting from the description. It can be used by hand, or by machine for the best results possible from the micro abrasives. Many polishes on the market require a pre-wax cleanse as an additional step before applying your chosen sealant and/or wax, however, Lime Prime enables polishing power but leaving an LSP (Last Step Product) ready finish.

Today’s test was to be undertaken on a Mitsubishi Evo X with light swirls and holograms.

On Arrival

Looking very smart already. The vehicle received the usual wash and clay pre-polish steps before assessing the paintwork, and attempting correction with Lime Prime.

All the correction work was done using the Zenith Point Technique on a 3M Yellow Polishing Pad.

A very impressive product to say the least with this lots of cutting power! This would suit a 1-step machine enhancement perfectly, as it is quick and easy to use; and I also found that it could be spread more than normal polishes as it was quite oily, meaning the work times were spot on. On this notoriously soft Japanese paint it was able to remove 95% of the marks, leaving a few deeper swirl marks remaining. After topping the car with Valentines Concours it was looking like this:

The question is how will this contend with hard German paints such as BMW? Since this review I have completed a 1-step machine enhancement with Lime Prime on a 2006 BMW X5 in Estroil Blue. The car was in reasonable condition, but had a few annoying marks and some light oxidisation – here is a before and after of some bumper scratches which were removed with Lime Prime:

All the marks were removed, and you can also see that the paintwork is lighter, brighter and flake popping.

I would recommend this product to anyone, there is nothing quite like it on the market at the moment, and I have also seen very nice results by hand!

Thank you for reading…
